General Precast Manufacturing Company incorporated in South Carolina in 1987. General Precast first manufactured waste water and storm water structures such as manholes, pumpstation, and catch basins out of Ladson, South Carolina. In 1998, General Precast relocated to our new location in Moncks Corner, South Carolina (approximately 20 miles outside of Charleston, South Carolina. With our new facility and the ability to diversify our product line and service, our architectural division and our General Precast On-Site divisions were formed. Sound barrier, security, and retaining wall systems were the primary product line. But with a strong demand for entryway systems for business and residential subdivision. With these new products, the need for installation was immediate. General Precast On-Site was formed to build and install our product line on site. This also includes, underground utility structures that are too large to precast, which we can now pour in place. Our goal is to satisfy our customers needs who want an elegant, durable and no maintenance product at a reasonable price.
