A 16-story, 500,000 square foot building with design items for the trade. Showroom search, floorplans, admission policy, news and events, staff, designer resources and contact information are highlighted. Today, the NYDC houses nearly 100 showrooms representing over 300 lines of fine, traditional, contemporary, residential and contract furniture, as well as fabric, floor covering, wall covering and decorative accessory resources. The NYDC is involved with numerous organizations dedicated to enhancing the industry. Through outreach programs with various charitable organizations, museums and design schools, the NYDC has cultivated strong ties with students, consumers, designers and architects. Each year the NYDC partners with these organizations for a series of exhibitions, seminars and special events. These efforts keep the NYDC in the forefront of New York’s design community and make it a preferred resource for the industry.
