Formed to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the public by maintaining the right of the interior designer to practice in a favorable business environment through legislation. California Legislative Coalition for Interior Design (CLCID) serves as the unified voice for the interior design profession in California. We are a legislative coalition that represents over 7,000 interior designers in issues that are important to our members and their practice. We monitor legislation and advocate improvement of professional standards of Certification by the State of California. Through our legislative activities, we work with local government agencies to help protect the public health, safety, and welfare.
